OFFICIAL WEBSITE OF THEOregon Rollin' Reign

OUR MISSION

The most important part of roller hockey is allowing players to be creative and have fun. We focus on a positive environment, equal learning, respect, dedication, and hard work.

We always look to bring everyone up, not tear anyone down as we represent our hockey community with pride and sportsmanship. Win, lose, or draw - we are a team.

COACHING TEAM

Our coaching philosophy is dedicated to playing as team first, individuals second. Our players compete to better themselves as much, if not more than we compete to best others. We compete to support our teammates, thank our parents, and fulfill our roller hockey dreams.

Roller hockey is an escape from the constraints of ice hockey, a chance to play fast, fun, and be creative. We know that positive energy brings positive results and we are more than hockey coaches and players, we are athletes, students of the game, passionate to performing, and nothing without our team. Teamwork makes the dream work.

HERB BROOKS (Team USA)

You win with people, not with talent. So, the quality of the people is very important in building your team. I always looked for people with a solid value system. Then I recruited kids from a cross-section of different personalities, talents and styles of play.

Parent Conduct Guidelines

Parents have the ultimate responsibility in creating the proper environment for our team (and therefore their child) to have the maximum amount of success their collective talents will allow. There are only a few coaches and 20-25 parents. If the coaches and parents are not on the same page the team outcome will be less than it could have been. Parent criticism in the stands, at practice, to other parents, and in front of their child hurts the team and their own child. We always want to surround our teams with a positive environment and keep any negative downdrafts away from the players, staff, coaches, and team.
